TRINIDAD, TOBAGO, THE NORTHERN WINDWARDS AND LEEWARDS
Predominantly hot and sunny conditions are expected despite a few showers at times. There is also a 40% (medium) chance of the isolated afternoon heavy shower or thunderstorm favouring western and hilly areas of Trinidad. Gusty winds and street/flash flooding may occur near heavy showers and thunderstorms. Tonight will be fair.
NOTE: Tropical Storm Lee is moving west-north-west near 26 km per hour. This motion is expected to continue over the next few days. On this track it is not expected to directly impact Trinidad and Tobago. However, the National Hurricane Center has forecast this system to become a major hurricane by this weekend.
THE SOUTHERN WINDWARDS
Partly cloudy conditions are expected with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. Some cloudiness will persist overnight with lingering showers.
