TRINIDAD, TO­BA­GO, THE NORTH­ERN WIND­WARDS AND LEE­WARDS

Pre­dom­i­nant­ly hot and sun­ny con­di­tions are ex­pect­ed de­spite a few show­ers at times. There is al­so a 40% (medi­um) chance of the iso­lat­ed af­ter­noon heavy show­er or thun­der­storm favour­ing west­ern and hilly ar­eas of Trinidad. Gusty winds and street/flash flood­ing may oc­cur near heavy show­ers and thun­der­storms. Tonight will be fair.

NOTE: Trop­i­cal Storm Lee is mov­ing west-north-west near 26 km per hour. This mo­tion is ex­pect­ed to con­tin­ue over the next few days. On this track it is not ex­pect­ed to di­rect­ly im­pact Trinidad and To­ba­go. How­ev­er, the Na­tion­al Hur­ri­cane Cen­ter has fore­cast this sys­tem to be­come a ma­jor hur­ri­cane by this week­end.
