Homi­cide de­tec­tives are at Jarvis Street in Vista­bel­la, where a woman was shot dead in her car ear­li­er this morn­ing.

She has been iden­ti­fied as 35-year-old moth­er of two, Crys­tal Har­richa­ran, of Boodoo Trace Ex­ten­sion, Union Vil­lage, Clax­ton Bay.

Ini­tial re­ports are that around 7:10 am, Crys­tal Har­richa­ran was leav­ing in her car to pick up school chil­dren when a white Nis­san B 15 pulled up. A gun­man ex­it­ed the ve­hi­cle and fired sev­er­al shots at her.

Crys­tal Har­richa­ran died at the scene. 

Po­lice said she had re­ceived sev­er­al death threats over the past few months. In ad­di­tion, her home had been fire­bombed and shot at.

Of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tion (Re­gion 3), and South­ern Di­vi­sion Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
