To­ba­go po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the dis­cov­ery of a woman’s body, which was found down a precipice along Saw Mill Trace in Mt St George.

Po­lice say around 10:56 am to­day, a 29-year-old man and his girl­friend were dri­ving in the area, when he no­ticed the body of a fe­male hang­ing over a precipice. 

Po­lice of­fi­cers were alert­ed to the dis­cov­ery. 

Of­fi­cers on the scene found the woman’s body clad in a green top, with the un­der­gar­ments pulled down slight­ly on the woman’s leg.  Her feet were bare.  She was ly­ing on her side, and ap­peared to have blood on her face.  Blood al­so was seen on the road­way. 

Po­lice have not yet iden­ti­fied the body or giv­en a de­scrip­tion or ap­prox­i­mate age of the woman.
