Jor­dane Dook­ie re­mained on course to se­cure the triple crown in the Sun­shine Snacks Tran­quil­li­ty Open at Tran­quil­li­ty Ten­nis Courts, Vic­to­ria Av­enue, Port-of-Spain when she blanked Nao­mi Mo­hammed in their Women's Open quar­ter­fi­nal on Tues­day.

The third-ranked Dook­ie won 6-0, 6-0 and next faces her women's dou­bles win­ning part­ner, and sec­ond-ranked play­er Cameron Wong in the semi­fi­nal af­ter the lat­ter was as equal­ly as im­pres­sive in her 6-0, 6-1 beat­ing of Em-Miryam Camp­bell-Smith.

The oth­er semi­fi­nal will fea­ture top-seed­ed El­la Car­ring­ton who hum­bled Cather­ine Camp­bell-Frost 6-4, 6-2, and Char­lotte Ready oust­ed Shiloh Walk­er 6-2, 6-0 in their re­spec­tive last-eight clash­es.

On Mon­day, in the men's open sin­gles, top-ranked Nabeel Mo­hammed beat Kristyan Valen­tine 6-2, 6-2 in his round-of-16 tie to set up a quar­ter­fi­nal date with fifth-ranked Vaughn Wil­son.

In oth­er match­es, fourth-ranked Joseph Codogan whipped Beck­ham Sylvester 6-1, 6-1 and with meet Ja­mal Alex­is next af­ter his 6-0, 6-3 de­feat of Ronald Robin­son while Akiel Duke over­came Se­bastien Byng 7-6(4), 6-4 and next meets the lat­ter's broth­er Zach­ery Byng, who was gift­ed a spot in the last-eight af­ter both Joshua Boyce and Adisa Ide­mu­dia were dis­qual­i­fied fol­low­ing an in­ci­dent in their match on the week­end; while Ke­shan Moonasar swept past Se­bas­t­ian Sylvester 6-3, 6-2 and next faces Richard Chung, who won by walkover from Christo­pher Roberts.
