E-Z Lines have been declared the Mickey Mouse League of Darts champions following a challenging season, ending with seven wins, one loss, and two draws.
Their title was secured with a decisive 8-2 triumph over Pub House Pirates, who are now officially relegated in the competition hosted by the T&T Darts Association (TTDA) at the Kosmos Members Club Port-of-Spain, on November 26.
Although the Pirates initially took the lead, they couldn’t maintain it and were easily defeated by E-Z Lines, thanks to strong performances from James Walklin, Karen Ramcharan and a crucial contribution from reserve player Sanchez Mangaroo.
Last season’s champions, De Original Game Shot (DOGS), secured second place after an entertaining match against third-placed Drifters. DOGS needed a win to claim consecutive titles but Drifters, aiming for second place, thwarted their plans by securing an exciting 5-5 draw. Drifters started strong, leading 4-2 at one point, but were outplayed in the singles rounds, allowing DOGS to salvage the draw.
Jus For Fun finished fourth after a commanding 9-1 victory over Bulldogs. The 2025 season is scheduled to start in mid-January, with Scorpions and Sea Wolves joining the A Division.
Additionally, a memorial tournament - Chicago Format - is planned for on December 3, to honour darts players who have passed away in recent years. This event will be held at the Kosmos Members Club, the home of darts, at 8.30 pm, following registration beginning at 7.30 pm with the draw at 8 pm.
The TTDA’s awards ceremony will take place on December 10 at Kafe Blue, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain at 8 pm.
