The T&T golf com­mu­ni­ty is mourn­ing the lost Clyde Year­wood, who passed away on Fri­day at home.

He was 79 years old and was a found­ing mem­ber of the Ch­aguara­mas Golf Club and rep­re­sent­ed Trinidad and To­ba­go as a mem­ber of var­i­ous na­tion­al teams.

He was al­so a pro­fes­sion­al golf coach who con­tributed to the en­rich­ing of the lives of many of our T&T ju­nior play­ers.

The Trinci­ty res­i­dent was still ac­tive up to March 7, be­fore the club's Ju­nior Clin­ics was put on hold due to the caron­avirus (Covid-19) pan­dem­ic, shar­ing his coach­ing skills.

The mem­bers of the Ch­aguara­mas Golf Club have ex­tend­ed their heart­felt con­do­lences to the mem­bers of his fam­i­ly and by ex­ten­sion the golf­ing fra­ter­ni­ty on his pass­ing. May he Rest In Peace."
