Evin Lewis and the Steel­pan Strik­ers ex­act­ed re­venge on the So­ca Kings when the TTCB Dream11 T10 Blast con­tin­ued at the Bri­an Lara Crick­et Acad­e­my, Tarou­ba, San Fer­nan­do on Fri­day.

These two teams met on Thurs­day with the Kings com­ing away with an 8-wick­et win but the Strik­ers were more clin­i­cal in Fri­day's win.

Once again, the Kings won the toss and chose to field first. Evin Lewis had a new open­ing part­ner in Mark Deyal (one run from three balls) but was not very in­ter­est­ed in shar­ing the strike. Af­ter Deyal's dis­missal, Lewis went on a tilt to reach his sec­ond half-cen­tu­ry in as many days off 16 balls. Sunil Nar­ine had Lewis caught by Shaquille Dun­can for 53 with the Strik­ers po­si­tioned on 83 for two and then re­moved Vikash Mo­hammed with his next de­liv­ery when Ja­son Mo­hammed held on to a smart catch at first slip. Amidst a sud­den­ly rapid fall of wick­ets, Strik­ers cap­tain Im­ran Khan held things to­geth­er long enough for the Strik­ers to reach 129 for 5, an iden­ti­cal score to Thurs­day's de­feat. Khan was not out on 34 from 21 balls with four fours and one six.

In re­ply, Nar­ine was most­ly a spec­ta­tor while Leonar­do Julien took lead in their open­ing part­ner­ship. Nar­ine was dis­missed for 13 in the third over while Julien would score 26 be­fore de­part­ing caught Lewis bowled Ram­di­al in at the start of the fifth over.

Ja­son Mo­hammed joined Jesse Bootan hop­ing to be able to re­peat their hero­ics from the day be­fore. They com­bined in a 41-run stand for the third wick­et which was bro­ken by Ram­di­al who had the wick­et of Bootan in the 7th over with the Strk­ers on 83 for three. He made a ro­bust 37 from 10 balls. It was the wick­et the Strik­ers need­ed as Mo­hammed and Seep­aul just could not keep up that mo­men­tum and the So­ca Kings wilt­ed to 114 for five from 10 over, los­ing by 15 runs.
