Fitness instructor Simone Gonzales, who conducts her classes (SG-Fit Camp) out of the Fitness Centre Limited at Starlite Shopping Plaza in Diego Martin, has put her support behind national swimmer Nikoli Blackman in the form of presenting to him with a FINA approved Arena full-body PowerSkin Open Water swimming suit.
Making the presentation to Blackman was SG executive member Lorraine Agostini at the Fitness Centre Limited at Starlite Shopping Plaza, in Diego Martin on Friday last.
SG has once again targeted providing financial assistance to the T&T Olympic Committee (TTOC) Athlete Welfare and Preparation Fund via their five-week fitness boot camp which took place from January 14 to February 11.
From the registrations of persons for the camp, half of those proceeds will be given to the T&TOC to support athletes and this will mark her fourth straight year of teaming up with the T&TOC to support the athletes.
This year, Blackman, a student of Fatima College, who was named the 2022 TTOC “Junior Sportsman of the Year” awardee, for the third straight year, was the first to contribute to this year’s venture with the main beneficiary being the T&T Olympic Committee Athlete Welfare and Preparation Fund.
