Noel's vo­cals are fea­tured on this track along­side long-time col­lab­o­ra­tor Patch. The "East In­di­an" male lead is Shawn "Da Ma$tamind" Noel. Noel is a pro­duc­er and im­per­son­ator who hasn't tired of find­ing new ways to en­ter­tain au­di­ences.

"I love to en­ter­tain, and this is just an­oth­er way to make peo­ple hap­py by en­joy­ing my­self on stage." He per­fect­ed his stage pres­ence over the sum­mer in New York, per­form­ing J'Ou­vert Jam with Lyrikal. "That ex­pe­ri­ence was heart­en­ing and gave me con­fi­dence and built my an­tic­i­pa­tion for Car­ni­val 2009. It al­so helps that Rum and Roti is get­ting a lot of pos­i­tive air­play in Trinidad."
