These were the watchwords Student of the Year Urmila Ramadhin imparted to her peers when she delivered the valedictory address at the 33rd graduation exercise at Barataria South Secondary School (BSSS), Third Extension Avenue, Barataria, on July 1.
Ramadhin said: "We should make wise decisions. We should not allow ourselves to be slaves to fashion, slaves to drugs, slaves to voices that yell 'you cannot succeed'. "No! We were born free! And we must continually emancipate ourselves from the mindset and habits that continually try to lock us down".
