Dou­ble mur­der ac­cused Mark Christo­pher ap­peared in court this morn­ing charged with killing con­sta­ble Rus­sell Ram­nar­ine and UWI stu­dent Av­ery Kesh­war.

It is al­leged that the 33-year-old El So­cor­ro watch­man mur­dered the duo on De­cem­ber 14 at Aranguez Main Road, Aranguez.

Christo­pher ap­peared calm when he stood be­fore Chief Mag­is­trate Mar­cia Ay­ers-Cae­sar.

Christo­pher is al­so charged with be­ing in pos­ses­sion of an il­le­gal gun and am­mu­ni­tion.

He was rep­re­sent­ed by at­tor­neys Lar­ry Williams, Chris­tine Sa­hadeo and Ja­son Jack­son.

He will re­turn to court on Jan­u­ary 20, next year.
