Trinidadian vocalist LeAndra Head will bring a signature blend of classical, contemporary and Caribbean fusion music back to Stollmeyer’s Castle with LeAndra Live– Strings and Voice II. The musical showcase is set for April 26 at 7 pm and April 27 at 6 pm, offering audiences an evening of refined artistry in a historic setting.
This year’s event carries personal significance for LeAndra, who has dedicated the performances to the memory of her grandfather Andrew Skinner. A devoted supporter of her career, Skinner passed away on March 20, 2025. Known for his unwavering encouragement, he insisted on purchasing his own ticket to her concerts, a testament to his belief in genuine support. His attendance at last year’s edition of LeAndra Live–Strings and Voice remains a cherished memory for the singer.
Following the sold-out success of its inaugural edition, LeAndra Live–Strings and Voice II will feature an ensemble of accomplished musicians, including:
• Stefan Roach–classical guitarist
• Johnathon Agostini—guitarist
• Eunmi Choi—pianist
• Wasia Ward—cellist
• Nariba Herbert—violist
• Special guest will be Mungal Patasar, the world-renowned sitar maestro.
LeAndra, a classically trained vocalist with an expansive repertoire spanning classical, musical theatre, bossa nova, jazz, and soca, has performed on international stages, including Porgy and Bess in Budapest. She has shared the stage with jazz legend Hugh Masekela and was the only vocalist to perform at the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between T&T and China, where she sang in Mandarin.
The event will be enhanced by set designs from Macfarlane’s Design Studios Ltd, lighting by Celia Wells, and a gourmet experience curated by Core Feed Your Need. Caribbean Airlines is offering guests the chance to win one of four tickets to any of its destinations. Contact LeAndralive1@gmail.com
