There are 43 new COVID-19 cas­es in Trinidad and To­ba­go this morn­ing, says the Min­istry of Health in its lat­est up­date.

In light of Pres­i­dent Trump's pos­i­tive test, De­mo­c­ra­t­ic pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee Joe Biden is ex­pect­ed to get test­ed for coro­n­avirus this morn­ing, ac­cord­ing to a source fa­mil­iar with his plans.

The Min­istry of Health has con­firmed that an­oth­er 28 per­sons have test­ed COVID-19 pos­i­tive, bring­ing the na­tion­al to­tal for ac­tive cas­es to 1,865.

This, is ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the Di­vi­sion of Health, Well­ness and Fam­i­ly De­vel­op­ment, which notes that be­tween the pe­ri­od 15 Au­gust and 20 Sep­tem­ber 2020, in par­tic­u­lar, ten peo­ple test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19.

Eleven (11) ad­di­tion­al per­sons have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19, bring­ing the to­tal num­ber of ac­tive cas­es to 1,837 per­sons.
