Reign­ing cham­pi­ons Guyana Ama­zon War­riors booked their spot in the 2024 Re­pub­lic Bank Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL) fi­nal by in­flict­ing an eight-wick­et de­feat over Bar­ba­dos Roy­als in Prov­i­dence, Guyana on Fri­day night. 

The Bar­ba­dos Roy­als were min­utes away from elim­i­na­tion against the Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers, but some­how mirac­u­lous­ly ad­vanced to the sec­ond qual­i­fi­er of the Caribbean Pre­mier League with a thrilling nine-wick­et win on Mon­day.

Fol­low­ing Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers' (TKR's) de­feat to Bar­ba­dos Roy­als, out­raged TKR fans are now claim­ing that the match was sab­o­taged.

The fix­tures for the 2024 Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL) have been con­firmed with the tour­na­ment set to run from Thurs­day 29 Au­gust to Sun­day 6 Oc­to­ber. For the first time since 2019 the event will vis­it six host coun­tries with match­es set to take place in An­tigua & Bar­bu­da, Bar­ba­dos, Guyana, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lu­cia and Trinidad & To­ba­go.
