An ex­tend­ed firearm mag­a­zine, four live rounds of 40 cal­i­bre am­mu­ni­tion and an undis­closed amount of mar­i­jua­na was found in an aban­doned build­ing in Bel­mont.

Po­lice said they re­ceived an anony­mous tip off and went to the build­ing at Up­per Belle Eau Road be­tween 9 am and 2 pm where they found the items dur­ing a search. No one was ar­rest­ed.

How­ev­er, po­lice are ask­ing mem­bers of the pub­lic who may have in­for­ma­tion to con­tact the Bel­mont Po­lice Sta­tion.

The ex­er­cise in­clud­ed Cpl Mod­este, PC Mc Al­lis­ter, and PC Kissoon and was su­per­vised by In­sp Jer­ry, Sgt. Nel­son, and PC Fran­cis.
