Residents of Brasso Venado have expressed their gratitude for the work done on the Brasso Venado Main Road.
On Monday, the Ministry of Works and Transport filled the broken roadway with gravel, making the road temporarily passable.
Nevertheless, the residents are hoping for a more permanent solution.
“It’s not 100 per cent repaired but a bit passable. However, they can put more material and do a thorough job, so it will be safe and permanent,” said Marilyn Villafana, President of the Brasso Venado Village Council.
Regarding the opening of the Brasso Venado Primary School, Villafana said she doubts the students and teachers will risk traversing the road. She believes it could remain closed for the rest of the year.
