Class­es con­tin­ue as nor­mal to­day at the San Juan North Sec­ondary School af­ter a fire ig­nit­ed in one of the class­rooms on Block C on Wednes­day.

Act­ing Chief Fire Of­fi­cer Andy Hutchin­son said the mat­ter was be­ing in­ves­ti­gat­ed to de­ter­mine the cause of the blaze.

Mean­while, Min­is­ter of Ed­u­ca­tion Dr Nyan Gads­by-Dol­ly con­firmed that there were no in­juries.

CNC3 News re­ceived video footage of the af­ter­math of the fire, dozens of books were dam­aged and those record­ing could be heard be­ing thank­ful that the fire did not spread.
