Mem­bers of the Cunu­pia Po­lice Youth Club joined with com­mu­ni­ty stake­hold­ers, oth­er po­lice youth clubs and even mem­bers of the Venezue­lan com­mu­ni­ty who now call T&T home, to march against crime on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon.

Spokesman for the Cunu­pia Po­lice Youth Club Dale Ar­rindel said the ob­jec­tive was to high­light the heinous crimes that oc­curred in the com­mu­ni­ty dur­ing the last year. He said the call was to "Si­lence the Vi­o­lence" and speak out against crime. Young peo­ple dis­played plac­ards call­ing on crim­i­nals to put down the guns and choose a life of peace.
