Teams from the T&T De­fence Force and the Of­fice of Dis­as­ter Pre­pared­ness and Man­age­ment (ODPM) are us­ing a drone to search for the body of a man who was swept away in yes­ter­day's floods in Princes Town.

He has been iden­ti­fied as An­tho­ny Walkes, 49, of New Grant.

Re­ports are that he went to Hard­bar­gain around 2 pm Mon­day to vis­it rel­a­tives. Eye­wit­ness­es re­port­ed seek­ing Walkes try­ing to cross a bridge to get to his rel­a­tives' house when he was swept away in the flood­wa­ters.

Walkes' rel­a­tives are as­sist­ing in the search for his body.
