Pan Trin­ba­go is mourn­ing the loss of its for­mer Pres­i­dent Owen Serette. Mr. Ser­rette was al­so a past mem­ber of Ebonites, Har­monites and the founder of Pan Knights. A state­ment from Pan Trin­ba­go stat­ed that “Mr Ser­rette con­tributed im­mense­ly to the Steel­pan Com­mu­ni­ty.” and ex­tend­ed con­do­lences to his fam­i­ly and friends.

The Steel Pan Com­mu­ni­ty wish­es to ex­tend sin­cere con­do­lences to the fam­i­ly and friends of Owen Ser­rette.

Mr. Ser­rette was a Past Pres­i­dent of Pan Trin­ba­go, Past Mem­ber of Ebonites, Har­monites and founder of Pan Knights.

When NATTS dis­solved and Pan Trin­ba­go formed, Ser­rette served as Ed­u­ca­tion Of­fi­cer of the new or­gan­i­sa­tion in 1982-’88. He sub­se­quent­ly suc­ceed­ed as pres­i­dent from 1988-1996.

Mr Ser­rette con­tributed im­mense­ly to the Steel­pan Com­mu­ni­ty.

Pan Trin­ba­go al­so com­mis­er­ate with the en­tire Ser­rette fam­i­ly at this time.
