Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley plans to be back in Trinidad af­ter the week­end.

While the PM has had two neg­a­tive COVID-19 tests and has been re­leased from iso­la­tion, he said he is still in re­cov­ery mode and would re­main in To­ba­go for the rest of this week.

Dr Row­ley told Guardian Me­dia that he plans to take the time to “feel like him­self again.”

He said he planned to spend some time “re­cov­er­ing my bal­ance and wild spaces”.

When asked how he was feel­ing post-COVID, the Prime Min­is­ter said, “I am fine”.

Row­ley was di­ag­nosed with COVID-19 on April 6.

Ac­cord­ing to up­dates from the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter over the past three weeks, the PM be­gan dis­play­ing symp­toms the day ear­li­er and was test­ed.

He re­mained work­ing in iso­la­tion in To­ba­go where he spent the East­er week­end.

He test­ed neg­a­tive for COVID both Mon­day and Tues­day and is now COVID free.
