Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley plans to be back in Trinidad after the weekend.
While the PM has had two negative COVID-19 tests and has been released from isolation, he said he is still in recovery mode and would remain in Tobago for the rest of this week.
Dr Rowley told Guardian Media that he plans to take the time to “feel like himself again.”
He said he planned to spend some time “recovering my balance and wild spaces”.
When asked how he was feeling post-COVID, the Prime Minister said, “I am fine”.
Rowley was diagnosed with COVID-19 on April 6.
According to updates from the Office of the Prime Minister over the past three weeks, the PM began displaying symptoms the day earlier and was tested.
He remained working in isolation in Tobago where he spent the Easter weekend.
He tested negative for COVID both Monday and Tuesday and is now COVID free.
