The Min­istry of Rur­al De­vel­op­ment and Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment says it has been re­spond­ing to re­ports from var­i­ous Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tions of dam­age and de­bris due to the in­clement weath­er cur­rent­ly be­ing ex­pe­ri­enced na­tion­wide. Ac­cord­ing to the Min­istry, through its Dis­as­ter Man­age­ment Unit
sig­nif­i­cant re­sources are be­ing de­ployed through the Re­gion­al Cor­po­ra­tions to as­sist af­fect­ed per­sons. The pub­lic is urged to con­tact their rel­e­vant Cor­po­ra­tion to re­port any dam­age or to re­quest as­sis­tance.
