Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dr Amery Browne says he's delighted the United Nations General Assembly has elected T&T Ambassador Dennis Francis as its President-elect.
In a brief conversation with Guardian Media, Browne said, "I am delighted that Trinidad and Tobago’s excellent selection of Ambassador Dennis Francis as our candidate, and our team's effective and strategic campaign, were rewarded this morning [Thursday] by his election this morning as President of the UN General Assembly for the 78th Session, by Acclamation."
