There are three can­di­dates for the Trin­ba­go Uni­fied Ca­lyp­so­ni­ans’ Or­gan­i­sa­tion (TU­CO) elec­tions set for Sat­ur­day, Au­gust 19th, 2023 from 9 am to 5 pm. In­cum­bent Ains­ley King, Mc Mor­ris Ed­wards and Rudolpy Ot­t­ley will all con­test the po­si­tion of pres­i­dent.

While Shirlane Hen­drick­son will re­turn to the post of Gen­er­al Sec­re­tary un­op­posed, there will be a four-way race for the role of vice pres­i­dent. Steve Pas­cal, Ab­bi Black­man, Ran­nie Pe­ters and De­nis Lasana Cox will all con­test for the po­si­tion. TU­CO says all fi­nan­cial mem­bers el­i­gi­ble to vote must walk with a valid form of na­tion­al iden­ti­fi­ca­tion (i.d. card/ dri­ver’s per­mit/pass­port) in or­der to cast their vote.
