To­ba­go's mur­der toll con­tin­ues to climb as a man was shot dead this morn­ing in Par­latu­vi­er.

Alvin Daniel was one of two peo­ple shot. Po­lice said Daniel and a woman were sit­ting in a car around 4 a.m. when gun­men drove up and opened fire. He was tak­en to Rox­bor­ough Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal, where he was pro­nounced dead.

His death brings the is­land's mur­der toll to 22 for the year.
