A Trinida­di­an and roti were fea­tured on Toron­to Met­ro­pol­i­tan Uni­ver­si­ty's (TMU) In­sta­gram page.

Shared on Thurs­day, the reel high­light­ed "What foods are TMU in­ter­na­tion­al stu­dents eat­ing around cam­pus when they're miss­ing home?"

The 30-sec­ond clip shows Nicholas, a nurs­ing stu­dent, vis­it­ing Tasty's Caribbean Restau­rant and Cater­ing for a dhal puri roti.

"I used to eat it a lot back at Trinidad. We have a lot of like cur­ry and dou­bles and stuff like that so this is ex­act­ly what we have at home," he said.

"It's im­por­tant for me to find foods like these when­ev­er I'm feel­ing like I'm re­al­ly miss­ing back at home. What can I do to feel at home and then I get Tri­ni food."

As of Fri­day evening, the video had over 33,000 views.
