Rio Claro East Secondary netballers remain unbeaten in the South Eastern District of the Trinidad and Tobago Secondary Schools Netball Association (TTSSNA) League. On the opening day of action, the Rio Claro East Under-20 team defeated Cowen Hamilton Sec (35-2) while their Under-15 school-mates blanked Princes Town West Secondary (44-0). Two days later the Rio Claro East Secondary Under-20 squad got the better of neighbour’s Rio Claro West Secondary (32-14) for a second straight win.
The Under-15 team recorded its second win overcoming Mayaro Secondary (16-11).
In Port-of-Spain and Environs, Diego Martin Central Secondary X, Success Laventille Secondary, and St Francois are yet to taste defeat.
Diego Central Secondary X beat all opponents in Group One in the Under-15 Division to lead the standings with eight points.
In Group 2, Success Laventille Secondary players remain perfect with three wins from three matches, for a maximum of six points.
St Francois Girls’ College Y sit on top on the Under-13 with one win and a draw to be on three points. Diego Martin Central Secondary is also on three points (one win, one draw, one loss). St Francois Girls’ College X is third on two points from the lone win from the one match played.
