HORSE OF THE YEAR 2008, Storm Street will be seek­ing to win his third race in as many starts on Sat­ur­day when he goes to post for the fea­ture, Derek Co­zi­er Memo­r­i­al Sprint on the main track at San­ta Rosa Park, Ari­ma. The Christo­pher Prime trained cham­pi­on, which scored an im­pres­sive suc­cess in this race last year, has been al­lot­ted top weight of 57 ki­los in the event which will see sev­en hors­es fac­ing the starter.

The Dachin Rac­ing Sta­bles owned, Storm Street will be part­nered by Alan Maragh and should con­tin­ue his win­ning ways. Storm Street's main com­pe­ti­tion should come from the Ter­rence Thomas trained, Trust N Con­fi­dence which will be rid­den by Ricky Jadoo and Sum­mer Cac­tus which will be part­nered by the in-form Pavlyn Badrie.

Oth­ers in the $125,000 event in­clude Adios Ami­gos, Cash It Back, Lu­ca's Gold and Strate­gic Si­lence.
