Former WWE wrestling rivals Mickie James and Katarina Waters will battle it out on local soil on July 3 and 4, at the Jean Pierre Complex, Port-of-Spain. The two women, who were a part of the WWE until last April both started on the independent wrestling circuit. James began her professional wrestling career in 1999 on the independent circuit, where she was known as Alexis Laree. She worked for Total Non-stop Action Wrestling before joining The Gathering and was the only woman to be involved in Clockwork Orange House of Fun matches.

James made her WWE debut in October 2005 in a storyline with Trish Stratus. Her role was that of an obsessed stalker. At Wrestlemania 22, she won her first WWE Women's championship, a title she has held five times. James also won her first Divas Championship at Night of Champions in 2009, to become the second person to hold both the Women's and Divas titles. Katie Lea, born Katrina Waters is a German-born English professional wrestler. Prior to signing with WWE, she–like James–spent many years on the independent circuit in the Frontier Wrestling Alliance, where she used the ring name Nikita.

Katarina Waters

After signing with WWE, she competed in their former developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling, where she became a two time Women's Champion before being called up to the main roster. Lea made her in-ring television debut on the April 28 edition of Raw defeating Super Crazy in an inter-gender Handicap Match. On Raw she had a confrontation with the Women's Champion James, in which she insinuated James had used her relationship with John Cena to sleep her way to success. Two weeks later, Lea teamed up with Beth Phoenix to defeat James and Melina, in which she pinned James. For more information on how you can view this ongoing feud, call 624-8431.
