Twen­ty-one-year old Sekayi Archer land­scap­er of Mal­oney has been charged with the mur­der of Damien Good­man, which oc­curred on March 23rd. He was al­so charged with shoot­ing with in­tent, pos­ses­sion of firearm and am­mu­ni­tion and pos­ses­sion of firearm and am­mu­ni­tion to en­dan­ger life. He is al­so ex­pect­ed to ap­pear be­fore an Ari­ma Mag­is­trate to­day. 

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, Good­man, 40, of Mal­oney Gar­dens, was at the cor­ner of Pi­coplat and Finch Dri­ve, Mal­oney Gar­dens when he was shot at by an as­sailant. He was tak­en to the Ari­ma Health Fa­cil­i­ty, where he died.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions were su­per­vised by ASP Dou­glas, W/In­sp. Sylvester, In­sps. Ram­jag and John and Sgt. Stanis­claus, all of the HBI Re­gion Two. Archer was ar­rest­ed on May 21st, 2022, in the Tu­na­puna dis­trict by HBI Re­gion Two of­fi­cers. He was charged with the of­fences by WPC Melville of HBI Re­gion Two, on Wednes­day 25th May, 2022.
