The Ministry of Social Development and Family Services says it remains committed to providing all and any form of support required to relatives of the Sangre Grande family who died in a fire Thursday morning.
48-year-old Natasha Nancoo and sons Adesh Joseph, 10, and Enrique Reyes, 19, perished in an early morning fire at their Cooblal Trace, Toco Main Road home.
Representatives who visited the relatives of the mother yesterday learned that the house was a rental property and the family only moved in a few months ago.
Officers attached to both the National Family Services and the National Social Development Programme reached out and offered condolences to the mother and relatives of Nancoo, as
well as counselling and psychosocial support.
Both children were special needs and were receiving the disability assistance grant for minors (DAGM).
