The River­ine Flood Alert has been dis­con­tin­ued by the Trinidad and To­ba­go Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Ser­vice (TTMS).

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from the TTMS, wa­ter lev­els along the Ca­roni and North Oropouche riv­er basins are con­tained and con­tin­u­ing on a down­ward trend. Ex­pect­ed rain­fall over the next 24 hours should not over­whelm these wa­ter­cours­es to cause over-spilling of their banks.
