Service disruption to parts of South-East Trinidad

The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty is ad­vis­ing cus­tomers in parts of South-East that the wa­ter dis­rup­tion is due to a leak­ing 16-inch di­am­e­ter pipeline at LP #6 Charu­ma Short Cut Trace, Rio Claro.

Ac­cord­ing to this press re­lease, Re­pair works are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 10:00 p.m. on June 4th, 2022.

The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) ad­vis­es cus­tomers in parts of South East, who are present­ly ex­pe­ri­enc­ing low wa­ter pres­sures or no wa­ter that this is due to a leak­ing 16-inch di­am­e­ter pipeline at LP #6 Charu­ma Short Cut Trace, Rio Claro.

Re­pair works are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 10:00 p.m. on June 4th, 2022.

Af­fect­ed ar­eas in­clude:

From LP #72 Cu­napo South­ern Main Road to Biche, Plum Mi­tan Road, Navet Vil­lage, Cushe and Charu­ma.

The Au­thor­i­ty fur­ther ad­vis­es that it may take up to 24 hours for the ser­vice to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas fol­low­ing the com­ple­tion of these re­pairs.

The Au­thor­i­ty apol­o­gizes for the in­con­ve­nience and thanks cus­tomers for their pa­tience and un­der­stand­ing.
