The To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly's Di­vi­sion of Ed­u­ca­tion, Re­search and Tech­nol­o­gy has con­demned the "reck­less ac­tion by all in­volved" re­gard­ing a bomb scare sent via e-mail to sec­ondary schools across Trinidad and To­ba­go.

In a me­dia re­lease on Fri­day af­ter­noon, the Di­vi­sion of Ed­u­ca­tion, Re­search and Tech­nol­o­gy said all To­ba­go sec­ondary schools were sub­se­quent­ly dis­missed with all the rel­e­vant state agen­cies, in­clud­ing the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS), T&T Fire Ser­vices, and the To­ba­go Emer­gency Man­age­ment Au­thor­i­ty (TEMA) hav­ing launched their in­ves­ti­ga­tions.

The di­vi­sion said around 9am, the Di­vi­sion of Ed­u­ca­tion, Re­search and Tech­nol­o­gy said they in­formed of the bomb threat with schools dis­missed and par­ents con­tact­ed ac­cord­ing­ly.

They have asked any­one with in­for­ma­tion to con­tact the TTPS or TEMA.
