The Wa­ter and Sewage Au­thor­i­ty is no­ti­fy­ing the pub­lic that they are aware of what is sus­pect­ed to be a par­tial col­lapse of its sew­er main along 17th Av­enue, be­tween 6th and 7th Av­enues, un­der the riverbed and CCC Boule­vard, Main Street, Beetham Gar­dens, Port of Spain. The Au­thor­i­ty is aware of what is sus­pect­ed to be a par­tial col­lapse of its sew­er main along 17th Av­enue, be­tween 6th and 7th Av­enues, un­der the riverbed and CCC Boule­vard, Main Street, Beetham Gar­dens, Port of Spain.

This has led to the ap­pear­ance of three (3) sink­holes in the im­me­di­ate area.

The Au­thor­i­ty is en­gag­ing the re­quired con­trac­tor and mo­bi­liz­ing all oth­er re­sources, to com­mence restora­tive work with­in 24hours and min­i­mize the in­con­ve­nience and dis­com­fort to the peo­ple of Beetham Gar­dens.

The pub­lic is no­ti­fied to pro­ceed with ex­treme cau­tion around the work site and will be in­formed of any re­vised traf­fic arrange­ments as the need aris­es. The Au­thor­i­ty thanks all those af­fect­ed for their pa­tience and un­der­stand­ing.
