The John O'Brien-trained four-year-old horse Hello World will go after more success on Saturday (June 22)at Santa Rosa Park, Arima.
Hello World will attempt to become the leading thoroughbred in the country as he will be seeking to win his fifth race on the trot while the Lester Alexis-trained Midnight Lover will also attempt the same earlier on the card.
The Poon Tip Stud Farm-owned horse was superb in victory two weeks ago when winning as he wanted over 1,750 metres. Saturday's trip will hold no fear for him. That day, he won by 13 1/2 length and he looked unbeatable for this race. Leading rider Dillon Khelawan will be aboard for O'Brien.
The champion trainer has five horses engaged in this event and must have a great chance of landing another 1-2-3 in this top event. He will field In The Headlines, Princess Aruna, Super Bird and the Crown Prince. The latter which is a classy individual will be ridden by Nobel Abrego and must be respected. O'Brien knows how to ready his charges for the big races. In The Headlines will be ridden by "Hall of Famer" Ricky Jadoo and is expected to run a big race, while Super Bird continues to come back slowly.
When entries were taken yesterday a total of 40 horses took entry for the Arima Race Club's (ARC) Day Six - six-race card.
Post time for the first event on Saturday is 1.45 pm.
