Sev­en (7) peo­ple in To­ba­go have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.  The num­ber of cur­rent ac­tive in­fec­tions on the is­land now stands at 339.

Five (5) more peo­ple have lost their lives to COVID-19, ac­cord­ing to the lat­est up­date from the Min­istry of Health.  These lat­est deaths have pushed up the na­tion­al death toll to 3,779 lives lost.

To­ba­go has record­ed a new death from COVID-19 over the last 24 hours. An un­vac­ci­nat­ed per­son is the lat­est vic­tim of the dis­ease, and their death brings the is­land’s death toll to 261 lives lost.

Some 16 peo­ple in To­ba­go have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.  The num­ber of cur­rent ac­tive in­fec­tions on the is­land now stands at 363.

GENE­VA (AP) — The num­ber of coro­n­avirus cas­es re­port­ed glob­al­ly has dropped for a sec­ond con­sec­u­tive week and con­firmed COVID-19 deaths al­so fell last week, ac­cord­ing to a World Health Or­ga­ni­za­tion re­port is­sued Wednes­day.

As pri­ma­ry school stu­dents re­turn to phys­i­cal class­rooms fol­low­ing the East­er hol­i­days, the Min­istry of Health is clos­er to ac­quir­ing COVID-19 vac­cines for that age group.

Some 26 peo­ple in To­ba­go have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, mov­ing the num­ber of cur­rent ac­tive in­fec­tions on the is­land to 365 per­sons.

Some 14 peo­ple in To­ba­go have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, but the num­ber of cur­rent ac­tive in­fec­tions on the is­land con­tin­ues to fall, with the lat­est to­tal be­ing 359 per­sons ac­tive­ly in­fect­ed.

An un­vac­ci­nat­ed per­son is the lat­est COVID-19 fa­tal­i­ty in To­ba­go over the past 24 hours, mov­ing the is­land’s death toll up to 260.

The Min­istry of Health has record­ed 5 ad­di­tion­al COVID re­lat­ed death. This brings the to­tal num­ber of deaths to 3,761. There are cur­rent­ly 162 pa­tients in the hos­pi­tal. The min­istry has al­so record­ed 230 new COVID cas­es in the last 24 hours, bring­ing the to­tal num­ber of ac­tive cas­es to 6,650.

Four more lives have been lost to COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, ac­cord­ing to the lat­est up­date from the Min­istry of Health.  The Min­istry says three (3) of the de­ceased had mul­ti­ple co­mor­bidi­ties, and one (1) per­son had one co­mor­bid­i­ty.
