ANSA Mc AL Group has for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year agreed to con­tribute to­wards the Cu­ba—Trinidad and To­ba­go Cul­tur­al Ex­change.

The Cu­ba—Trinidad and To­ba­go Cul­tur­al Ex­change project orig­i­nat­ed in 2015 when Suc­cess Laven­tille Sec­ondary School, through its Suc­cess Stars Pan Sounds ac­cept­ed an in­vi­ta­tion from the Gov­ern­ment of Cu­ba in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Cuban In­sti­tute of Mu­sic, to per­form in sev­er­al mu­si­cal work­shops through­out Cu­ba.

In 2017, Cu­ba—Trinidad and To­ba­go Cul­tur­al Ex­change host­ed El Con­jun­to Folko­ri­co Na­cional de Cu­ba a 36 mem­ber con­tin­gent of one of Cu­ba’s pre­miere folk­loric, in­ter­na­tion­al­ly ac­claimed per­form­ing arts com­pa­ny with Nicholas Cum­ber­batch, project man­ag­er, at the helm.

This year’s event fea­tured Ha­bana Com­pas Dance, a twen­ty 20 mem­ber per­cus­sive dance com­pa­ny, as well as stu­dents from sev­er­al per­form­ing arts schools in Trinidad and To­ba­go who were en­cour­aged to par­tic­i­pate in Dance and Per­cus­sion work­shops from Jan­u­ary 12 to 22.

The ANSA McAL Group val­ues the im­por­tant ob­jec­tives com­ing out of this cul­tur­al-ed­u­ca­tion­al ex­change be­tween our two coun­tries which di­rect­ly ben­e­fits our peo­ples.
