A drug block op­er­a­tion led by the North East­ern Di­vi­sion yes­ter­day, re­sult­ed in the seizure of a quan­ti­ty of cannabis.

On De­cem­ber 11 be­tween 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, of­fi­cers act­ing on in­tel­li­gence dis­cov­ered a black plas­tic bag con­tain­ing 161.5 grams of cannabis at Con­cord Street, San Juan.

Of­fi­cers lat­er con­duct­ed a search on 2nd Street Barataria and found one red plas­tic bag con­tain­ing one kilo­gram of cannabis.

This ex­er­cise was spear­head­ed by Ag/Snr Supt Ed­wards, Supt Birch, Ag/ASP Cal­len­der, co­or­di­nat­ed by Ag/In­sp Ram­s­ingh and Sgt Mar­tin, su­per­vised by Cpl Daniel and in­clud­ed mem­bers of the NED Task Force and Ca­nine Unit.
