Dressed in their beau­ti­ful In­di­an at­tire, stu­dents of Cedar Grove Pri­vate School in Palmiste, San Fer­nan­do cel­e­brate In­di­an Ar­rival Day which is on Mon­day.  

The stu­dents were shown and taught about mu­si­cal in­stru­ments and cook­ing uten­sils brought by in­den­tured labour­ers who came to Trinidad from In­dia. The items were put on dis­play at the school. 

School prin­ci­pal Sha­heed Al­la­ham said they be­lieve in de­vel­op­ing a  holis­tic child and In­di­an Ar­rival is one of the na­tion­al fes­ti­vals and they en­cour­age that kind of cel­e­bra­tion in Cedar Grove.
