Police are investigating an incident in which a vehicle belonging to a THA official was shot up, while he was at his home.
Guardian Media understands that the incident occurred at about 8:20 pm on Saturday July 3rd, at the home of 57-year-old Wendell Berkley, coordinator of the Rural Development Unit within the Office of the Chief Secretary.
Berkley reportedly was standing in the yard of his Windward Road, Louis D’Or home, when his dogs began barking and several loud explosions were heard.
The victim went into his house to protect himself.
When he surveyed his premises on Sunday July 4th, he discovered that the shattered remains of the window on his motor vehicle (a white coloured Nissan Almera), which was parked in his yard.
Crime scene investigators visited the scene and found two projectiles.
