The Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) has announced its candidates for the upcoming Tobago House of Assembly (THA) elections, scheduled for Monday 6th December 2021.
A release from the PDP this morning notes that Deputy Political Leader, Farley Augustine, will be leading the team of Assembly hopefuls, who are drawn from various professional fields including: education, public health, agriculture, environmental management, culture and the arts, infrastructure, urban development, finance and sport.
The 15 candidates are:

Terance Baynes – Bethel/New Grange
Zorisha “Zia” Hackett – Bethesda/Les Coteaux
Joel “Nuttsy” Sampson – Bon Accord/Crown Point
Sonny Craig – Buccoo/Mt Pleasant
Abby Taylor – Darrel Spring/Whim
Wane “Wasp” Clarke – Lambeau/Lowlands
Ian “Whitey” Pollard – Mason Hall/Moriah
Megan Morrison – Mt St George/Goodwood
Farley Chavez Augustine – Parlatuvier/L’anse Fourmi/Speyside
Niall George – Plymouth/Black Rock
Watson Solomon Duke – Roxborough/Argyle

The PDP has chosen as its slogan for the upcoming election, “Leh We Fix Dis”, and has called on all Tobagonians to ensure they vote in the December 6th poll.
The PDP said in its release:
“The party strongly believes in democratic governance and hopes to reengineer the Tobago House of Assembly into a system that works for all Tobagonians; a system in which resources are better managed, transparency and accountability are evident, and all sectors of society benefit as a result.”
It added: “We now call on all Tobagonians to come out in your numbers on December 6th to vote resoundingly for the PDP. TOBAGO, LEH WE FIX DIS!”
