President Christine Kangaloo has called on the public to work together to build a more compassionate country.
In her annual Christmas message, President Kangaloo urged citizens to embody the true spirit of the season by fostering unity, and kindness.
“As we celebrate this joyous time of year, let us embrace the opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite us as a people,” the President said.
“Let us work together to build a stronger, more connected, and more compassionate nation—one that we can all be proud to call home.”
She urged citizens to focus on acts of kindness, generosity, and empathy, emphasising that these values are the foundation of a better society.
“The true essence of Christmas lies in giving, caring, and supporting one another,” she added.
The President and husband, Kerwyn Garcia, extended heartfelt wishes to all citizens for a safe and joyous season.
“My husband and I send our warmest greetings to every member of our beloved nation. May this Christmas bring happiness, peace, and blessings to all,” she said.
The President also encouraged everyone to carry the spirit of Christmas throughout the year.
